I collect watches. I used to have lots of watches including the original “Omega moon watch,” three other Omegas (one very thin ones with the movement fro 1909 but the face had been replaced in 1925), a couple of Rolexes, and few others from the 1920’s and thirties.

Then our house was burglarized and the seventeen year old son of our next door neighbor stole all my watches. By this time my finances had changed and I could no longer afford expensive watches (my wife did eventually get me a series two Omega moon watch which is the prize of my collection).

So I started buying Swatch watches. I love them. They work great and allow you to have a decent collection without having to get a second mortgage (as though that was possible in today’s economic condition).
